SuperSones
We’re very excited about this event—the first in what we hope will be a lasting relationship with Drum Roll Wine and the people of downtown Renton. As a 501c3 nonprofit, Sustainable Music Northwest has partnered with Drum Roll to help foster deeper community connections through the power of live music.
We are thrilled to present the incredible band SuperSones, performing the sublime sounds of Cuban Son—the vibrant, acoustic dance music that inspired modern Salsa. While Drum Roll is a cozy, quaint space that offers an intimate setting, the energy of this music is sure to be infectious.
As with all our events, this is a free, all-ages community gathering. Bring the kids, bring the dogs, and bring a dish to share for our community potluck! Don’t worry about the drinks—Drum Roll has you covered with their expert selection of delicious Pacific Northwest wines. Come help us build a more vibrant downtown Renton through great live music, food, wine, and company.
Stacey Eliason
To kick off our first successful partnership with the Music Performance Trust Fund, our new friend Stacey Eliason will be playing solo piano holiday goodies at Willard art and Frame during their Holiday open house.
There’ll be a real live Santa there to sign autographs and answer all your Santa -related questions. We’re looking forward to this one!
It should also go without saying, but we’ll say it anyways: Free and all-ages!
Jonti Siman Trio
Our third event in partnership with Fremont Brewing’s delightful Columbia City Urban Beer Garden. Bring your kids, your dogs, your grumpy cats on leashes, your pet armadillos, your desire for good company and great music, and your thirst for delicious beer. Jonti and his band are a real joy, so you’re in for a real treat
Los Flacos at the Beacon Hill Winter Art Fair
We’ll be presenting the great south American folk band, Los Flacos for the Beacon Arts South End Public Market Winter Art Fair Market from 2:00-4:30. This is going to be a good one! Come on down with your scarves and your wrist and elbow warmers, and get some art, meet some of your neighbors, listen to some of the finest live music this wee town has to offer, and spread some goo old-fashioned holiday cheer while you’re at it.
Nick Drummond at Plymouth Crossing
Marking the second event of our partnership with Plymouth Housing, this Friendsgiving brought together residents from Plymouth Crossing and Porchlight—communities serving individuals overcoming barriers to housing, including incarceration and disability. Sustainable Music Northwest presented the inimitable Nick Drummond, whose performance provided a warm, inviting backdrop that enriched the shared meal and community atmosphere.

Luncheon for Residents of Plymouth Place
An exciting beginning to a partnership with Plymouth Housing, that manages buildings around King County providing stable housing to adults who have experienced homelessness. This partnership was kicked off with Sustainable Music Northwest providing live music for residents at a luncheon at one of Plymouth Housing’s many apartment buildings. The Kate Olson Trio sounded great, the tacos were delicious, and the residents were tapping their feet (and chewing)
